Here are a few pictures of our niece and nephews Brady, Holly and Ryan taken this past weekend. They are getting SO incredibly big, especially Ryan! His new nickname is King Kong - he just runs people over! :)

Brady and Holly start kindergarden and preschool next week - they're very excited!! More pictures of Eliza to come from this weekend - she's 12 weeks today! :)

The Beach Wedding - Part One

Here are some pictures of Dave and Mary Beach's wedding on 8/16 - it was a fun and HOT night! It was super bright so I did the best I could with editing. Mary chose blue hydrangeas which are my absolute favorites! The details were beautiful and we were very happy to be there! The band was a local (very Beach like) band and jammed ALL night long. It was nice to see everyone, so fun reminiscing!

Erin and Steve's Engagement Party!

On Friday, August 15th - Kev and I attended the fabulous engagement party for our good friends Erin and Steve "soon to be Rinabarger." Family friends of Erin's threw them an amazing party to celebrate their upcoming February 2009 nuptials.

We arrived at the Seattle Aquarium and walked out to the pier overlooking the Sound for cocktails and appetizers which was truly spectacular! It was great catching up with people we hadn't seen in a while and putting together names and faces that we were eager to finally meet. Dinner was served inside in an area that had THE biggest fish tank I've ever seen covering one entire wall!!

Anytime Erin is in attendance, you know they'll be great dancing and of course a rockin' air guitar session to Journey. Erin's sis made a guest appearance and really proved she's a Coffey by gettin' down to "Don't Stop Believin'!"

It was a great night! Thank you to the RinaCoff's and Johnson's for a wonderful night!

Gold Medal Fury...

Okay, so instead of working on our photos from our Seattle trip, doing endless household chores and most importantly - finishing our "Thank You" cards from our wedding (eek, I know we're bad), I've been sucked into the vortex that IS the Olympics!

I've been sick all week and yet somehow still found a few hours to watch our favorite athletes bump, set, spike, twist, sprint and swim to victory, proudly displaying their hardware on the podium as they sing along to our National Anthem...

I'll be sad when they're over, but at least my life will return to some sort of normalcy!

Happy Belated Anniversary....

To Derek and Katie Bunyard who celebrated their first wedding anniversary on July 25th and July 27th. They were married in a San Diego Church (above) on the 25th, followed by a ceremony overlooking the Pacific in Mexico on the 27th. It was a fabulous weekend, I can't believe it's already been one year! Congrats to the Bunyards, it was an honor to be a part of it all! XOXO

Seattle Bound!

Tomorrow Kevin and I are heading to Seattle due to family and friend withdrawals! There are very few trips we make out there where we have a lot of down time and this weekend is no exception. It will be a pretty packed yet fun weekend enjoying the non-humid sunny Seattle weather!



Here's a quick Timeline of our weekend...

We arrive at 11am tomorrow Seattle time and will go directly to my mom's house out in Duvall. She has 8 or 9 acres of beautifully landscaped land complete with goats, dogs, a horse, a riding arena and gorgeous flower beds and vegetable gardens. She's put a ton of work into it and it looks gorgeous! We're planning on BBQ'ing with family and some of her friends that night then we'll stay overnight in her guest house. Thursday we'll meet up with my dad for what should be an adventurous, "scenic" day of showing Kev more of what the Seattle area has to offer. I haven't seen my dad since the wedding so it will be nice getting to spend time with him while he's in the US.

Friday, Kev is going boating with a few friends on Lake Union and I'll be catching up with friends until it's time to get ready for Coffey and Steve's engagement party - can't wait!! Their party is going to be at the Seattle Aquarium and I'm sure it will be a spectacular night!

Saturday, I will meet up with a few of my best friends in Kirkland for a walk and lunch while I'm sure Kev and Bryan will chat about geeky things "computer." Saturday night we're headed to Pravda Studios in Seattle for my friend Dave Beach's wedding to the lovely Mary Brown. We're looking forward to the night!!

Sunday will be a lazy day, catching some rays on my dock I'm sure. It will be a super fun weekend and I'll post pictures when I get back!

Eliza - 2 months

Here are some recent pictures of Eliza (our adorable niece) - taken on Sunday. She's 8.5 weeks now, time is flying by! She's starting to smile and coo and loves to kick and punch. :) She still has a ton of that gorgeous hair and her eyes are the prettiest shade of blue!
Before we know it, this little one will be crawling around with her cousin Ryan!
Julie and Jason are wonderful parents and it's so fun watching them with her, their little "Sweet Pea."
